Become A Sponsor
Our mission is to revive and restore public buildings with decorative painting of all types.
When a building owner seeks restoration, or a completely new design, we offer a unique program that benefits the building owner in saving on labor costs, and benefits eager apprentices who seek training in the decorative arts.
For the cost of materials, the building gets a transformation. DPAP invites professional artisans to teach their craft while working on the project. DPAP invites students to enroll in classes for a fee to become apprentices to the professional artisans. The students' class fees pay for additional expenses on the project, such as lodging, specialty products, etc. This is a not for profit endeavor.
On occasion, a public project will be selected even though the building owner can not cover the full cost of materials. If this is the case, DPAP, invites individuals and businesses to become sponsors of the project. Sponsorships, whether in-kind product or services donations or monetary contributions, will directly help the specific project.
If you are interested in learning more about how to contribute to a project, please contact, Bernadette Forese, Executive Director, Decorative Painting Apprenticeship Program at (610) 368-3899 or info@dpap.org.
SPONSOR THE CITY PARK NEW ORLEANS PROJECT
In the case of the City Park project, the owner is contributing to the material cost, but it is minimal. DPAP invites you to become a sponsor of the project and help us pay for the actual cost of the project.
At City Park, our work concentrates on reviving the Bumper Car Pavilion, Casino Building, Ice Cream Parlor and other interior and exterior areas.
We view our contribution as special visual gift to the people of New Orleans. We invite you to underwrite our project.
Our sponsorship coordinator has developed several different contribution levels with tiered benefits. Depending on the level of contribution, your sponsorship may include:
- Naming opportunity on all works
- Logo and/or name on signage during project
- Included in all media releases
- Invitation to dedication ceremony.
If you are interested in sponsoring the City Park project, please contact our development director, Ann Marie van Den Hurk, APR, at ann@vandenhurkpr.com.
